Charlie Sheen Released from Jail After Posting $8,500 Bond; Wife Declared Legally Drunk During Time of 911 Call

TMZ has just reported that Charlie Sheen was released from jail after consulting a judge that allowed him to leave on an $8,500 bail.

One of the most interesting points raised in this case was that Sheen's wife, Brooke Mueller, was drunk with a BAC of .13 when she made the 911 call. Sheen's BAC level was also checked during the time of the call, but only came in to be a .04.

With this new evidence, do you think Sheen was correct in saying that Mueller started the abuse, and that he was simply fighting her off, or do you still think that Sheen is 100% guilty?

Sheen will still appear in court about his domestic abuse charges. No word yet on when the court case will take place.

As Adam Lambert Suffers from Identity Crisis, Jesse McCartney Offers to Help.

In a recent interview with MTV News, singer/actor Jesse McCartney declared his desire to work with the openly flamboyant and controversial Idol star, Adam Lambert.

McCartney described Lambert's first single, For Your Entertainment as being "unfocused" and he also stated that he would like to help Lambert find a more solid musical direction.

Lambert has also admitted that he suffered from a minor case of identity crisis while making his debut album.

McCartney further shared that a collaboration with Lambert would create a sound similar to Queen, where it would "glam-rock" and "not to pop-ish". If this unlikely duo ever come together to record a duet, don't expect it to turn out sounding like McCartney's hit, "Beautiful Soul".

What do you think of McCartney working with Lambert? Do you think McCartney could influence Lambert to record a more solid record? Do you think they could record a successful duet, or would it fail miserably?

Mitchell Musso is the REAL Star of Hannah Montana

Anyone living in 2009 knows that Miley Cyrus is undoubtedly one of the biggest celebrities on the planet. Miley has her own TV show, Hannah Montana, her own clothing line, and she's a multi-platinum selling recording artist. You can not walk into a store without seeing Miley, or her TV show personality, Hannah Montana,'s face on at least one item. However, Miley Cyrus should not be regarded as being the "star" of Hannah Montana.

Mitchell Musso, who plays the part of Oliver Oaken on Hannah Montana is the real star.

Musso's acting credentials extend far beyond Hannah Montana. Some other shows that Mitchell has acted in are Phineas and Ferb and King of the Hill. He has also played roles in movies such as Monster House, Secondhand Lions, and Life is Ruff.

Like Cyrus, Musso has also experimented with the music business. During the summer of 2009 Musso's self-titled debut album was released. It did not sell nearly as well as Cyrus' records, mainly because it lacked the funding and publicity that Cyrus was granted. However, Mitchell is much more musically talented than Cyrus. Cyrus's music holds a sound that can easily be compared to 90's pop music moguls like N'sync, Backstreet Boys, or Mandy Moore. Cyrus is all the rage now, but a few years down the road she will be another forgotten memento of tween music fandom, while Musso's music will still be fresh in our minds. Musso's music contains pure, raw, talent that Cyrus lacks. Cyrus is nothing more than a manufactured product, while Musso proves through his music that he is the real deal.

Don't believe me? Check out the video for Musso's song, Shout it Out and let me know your opinions on it!

This is the Last Season of "Idol" as We Know it.

Simon Cowell's brother, who hosts the weekly podcast titled, "The Cowell Factor" announced on his most recent podcast that judge Simon Cowell will be leaving Idol after the conclusion of this coming season.

Cowell's brother stated that instead of continuing with another season of "Idol", Cowell will focus on establishing his popular UK show, The X-Factor in America.

Without Cowell's harsh comments at the judges table, it is unknown whether the show will succeed or not. The ratings for the past few years have suffered, but have still continued to bring Idol to the number one slot each week. Co-judge, Paula Abdul announced that she would be resigning from her position as judge in the summer. This action, combined with Cowell's departure would make season 10 of Idol a far cry from the original lineup that the show has carried on for 8 consecutive seasons.

Will you still tune in to Idol without Simon on the show? Do you think the show can succeed without him, or will it be an epic fail?

Full House Proves that we Laugh Because Others Do, Not Because Something is Funny.

After watching this snippet of Full House, one thing is obvious. Full House wasn't really that funny. It was awkward and weird. With this being said, why is it that we laughed hysterically throughout most epidsodes of the beloved sitcom?

Because Full House told us to.

The original epidsodes all contained "laugh tracks", or recorded sound of audience members laughing which would be played throughout different scenes in each epidsode. Without the laugh tracks, situations are not funny, they are just awkward.

Do you think that this laugh track free clip of Full House proves that the show wasn't really funny, but that individuals simply laugh at incidents because everyone else does? Were the situations ever funny, or was it funny because someone else thought it was? If Full House refrained from airing epidsodes that used laugh tracks, would you have still watched?

Music to My Ears: Idol's Time is Changed from 8pm to 9pm

Perezhilton.com has recently announced American Idol's plans to change their time from 8pm to 9pm.

This will be the first official time change for the show since it aired in 2001.

This time change will benefit me, as the 8pm time would have interfered with one of my college classes. However, how will it effect the ratings? Idol's ratings have steadily dropped over the past few years. Will America sucessfully make the adjustment from 8pm to 9pm? Or will viewers forget or watch another show at 9?

Could Drugs Have Aided Brittany Murphy's Untimely Death?

Perezhilton.com is reporting that many of Brittany Murphy's friends have claimed that the fallen actress was addicted to painkillers, such as Vicoden. Vicoden is an extremely powerful painkiller often used after major surgeries, or in Murphy's case, plastic surgery. The drug was also brought into the light after the death of Michael Jackson. Friends of Murphy are making claims that Murphy's abuse of the drug could have triggered her death, similar to how it did for MJ.

Official autopsy results are still waiting to be reported.

Are you surprised by this accusation? Or did you expect that Murphy's death may have been due to fowl play?

Actress, Brittany Murphy, Dead at 32.

New York Daily News is reporting that Brittany Murphy just died at the age of 32 due to cardiac arrest.

Attempts were made to revive the actress early this morning when the emergency call came through, but they were not successful.

Murphy is best known for her acting roles in 8 Mile, Just Married, Uptown Girls, Clueless, and Sin City.

Murphy is one of my personal favorite actresses. I will personally miss seeing her in films, and I am sure that the rest of the world will miss her as well. My heart goes out to friends and family of Murphy.
