Anorexic Model, Isabelle Caro, Dies at Age 28 ***Warning: Post Includes Disturbing Images***

HuffingtonPost.com just posted a story announcing the death of French actress/model, Isabelle Carlo. Daniele Dubreuil-Prevot, Caro's acting instructor served as a spokesperson announcing that Caro passed away on November 17th after traveling from Japan back home to France.

Dubreuil-Prevot was vague with details regarding Caro's death, but the model/actress has suffered from anorexia since she was 13, and Dubreuil-Prevot stated that Caro "Had been sick for a very long time".

Disturbing photographs of the paper-thin actress/model were released for an anti-anorexia ad campaign in Italy in 2007. The pictures can be seen below:

Carlo appeared on the television showThe Price of Beauty where she discussed her struggles with anorexia. She has been quoted as saying that one of her fashion designers was partially to blame for her anorexia, as she was told she would need to "lose 10 kilos if you want to be in the fashion world" (10 kilos is equal to approximately 23 pounds). After hearing this, Caro literally starved herself, refusing to eat anything, causing an eating disorder that Carlo failed to recover from.

Caro's anorexia gave her several near-death experiences in the past. In 2006, Caro's weight dropped to just 55 pounds and she ended up in a coma. At the time, it seemed very unlikely that Carlo would survive. Her survival was deemed nothing short of a miracle, and Carlo was then determined to beat her anorexia by slowly eating more and more.

Some other side effects of Caro's disease were extremely brittle hair that constantly fell out, tooth loss, and dried out skin. Caro had this to say about her appearance in the past, "I'm not beautiful, my hair is ruined and I know I will never have long hair again. I've lost several teeth. My skin is dry. My breasts have fallen. No young girl wants to look like a skeleton...You couldn't believe anyone would want to look like that. I don't think there's any question about it."

Caro also tried to raise awareness about her disorder by organizing a law to send to Parliament against the use of dangerously thin models. Such a law would help to crack down on anorexia in the modeling world, because dangerously underweight models would be prohibited from modeling until they gained a certain amount of weight. Unfortunately, Caro never fully recovered from her disorder and lost her battle on November 17, 2010.

This news absolutely breaks my heart and fills me with a heightened sense of rage against our society. What can we say about a society that pushes individuals to lose so much weight, to look a certain way, that it literally kills them? This is really not right. Beauty is not skin deep. Beauty is not all about physical attributes. It's so much deeper than that. It's about making a difference in the world. It's about being a good person. It's about doing well for others and yourself. There is nothing about Isabelle Caro's anorexia that was beautiful. I would love to know the name of the designer that told Caro to lose weight. I'd love to see what she has to say now. Yes, I'm sure Caro had other problems long before that comment was made, but at the same time, that designer definitely triggered Caro's eating disorder. That designer is definitely someone deserving of blame for her death. I truly think that if nothing else, that designer should lose her job over this.

I hope that the sad tragedy of Isabelle Caro is never lost. I hope that this is a story that people will remember for a long time...the story of a model who was once beautiful, but was made to feel ugly. A beautiful model who, thanks to one stupid comment, could not see her own beauty, and was literally destroyed while trying to search for and achieve something she had right from the beginning. I hope that everyone remembers the work and awareness that Caro tried to bring about for anorexia prior to her death. Our world needs stricter modeling laws/rules and regulations. No model should ever be 55 pounds like Caro was. There is nothing beautiful about that at all. Any model that is below normal weight should not be allowed to model at all. By accepting underweight models...and telling these underweight models to lose more weight, modeling agencies are single-handily causing eating disorders to occur. This is an extreme tragedy that really shouldn't even exist at all. Our society needs to really come together now and help prevent this from occurring in the future.

Twitter War Starts Between Raz-B and Chris Brown after Raz-B Comments on Rihanna's Changed Relationship Status

The Twittersphere has once again exploded with a celebrity feud, this time involving ex-B2K member, Raz-B, and singer Chris Brown.

The arguement started after Raz-B stated his sympathy towards newly single singer and Chris Brown's ex-girlfriend, Rihanna.

However, Raz-B further continued, by tweeting, "Im just sittin here Thinking how can niggas like @ebenet & @ChrisBrown disrespect women as Intelligent as @HalleBerry11 @Rihanna."

Chris Brown responded by stating, "@razb2k nigga you want attention! Grow up nigga!!! Dick in da booty ass lil boy."

Raz-B answered this tweet by asking Chris, "Do you hit your boyfriend @andre_merritt like you do your women?", making allegations that Chris is gay and starting what would be the first of many homophobic remarks, many of which came from Chris. Chris even went so far as accusing Raz-B as being like "Peter Pan" and photoshopping a picture of Raz-B as Peter Pan as can be seen below:

Chris frequently apologized in his tweets to his followers and gay fans. However, I personally do not find it to be a sincere apology at all. Instead, it sounds like Chris's sad attempt to save his career and to protect himself from backlash and homophobic accusations, which are sure to come.

Raz-B responded to Chris Brown's apologies by stating, "Ur not homophobic, ur juz homosexual on the low! RT @chrisbrown I'm not homophobic! He's just disrespectful!!!", a comment that could cause Raz-B much backlash from his homosexual fans, and GLAAD as well. Like Chris, Raz-B also attempted to protect himself from allegations and scrutiny by posting, "hey followers.... i want to apologize for fostering homophobia tweets.. this has nothing to do against my followers...", an apology that once again seems to lack sincerity and simply seems to be the singer's attempt at salvaging his career and avoiding backlash.

Chris also frequently made claims that Raz-B was only talking about Chris Brown's 2008 beatdown on Rhianna for attention and to further advance his career. Raz-B had little to say about these accusations other than "@chrisbrown I luv how u resort 2 disrespectful low brow tactics when u clearly sabotaged ur own career by beating women!"

What does Raz-B's ex-B2K band mates have to say about the feud? No comments have yet been heard, but Raz-B stated through twitter, "tell yo cheerleader @1omarion 2 shut the fuck up b4 i send J BOOG 2 fuck HIS MaMa again", suggesting that the singer expects Omarion to take Chris's side, while J Boog is more likely to side with Raz-B.

What do you think of Raz-B and Chris Brown's twitter fight? Who do you think was wrong or right? I personally think that it was wrong for Raz-B to come at Chris Brown like that. It does sound to me like it's Raz-B's sad attempt to gain some spotlight and attention. However, it was very unwise for Chris Brown to respond to Raz-B's comments. He was just starting to earn a little bit more respect with his new music and the completion of his domestic abuse program. However, the comments and attacks that he made on Raz-B once again repainted him as being a monster and it is unlikely that he will gain much support from others following the fight, even though Raz-B was the one to start it. The homophobic remarks from both Raz-B and Chris Brown were stupid and immature and I'd be surprised if they didn't find themselves explaning their comments to GLAAD...

Willow Smith to Re-make "Parents Just Don't Understand"?

According to Willow, it's a "possibility".

The original version of the 1988 hit, "Parents Just Don't Understand" was recorded by her father, Will Smith, or as he was known back then, "The Fresh Prince" and DJ Jazzy Jeff. It was later re-made by by Nick Cannon, 3LW, and Lil' Romeo for the 2001 film, Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Willow described her father's original version of the song by stating, "It's a really great song".

What do you think of Willow Smith re-making her father's classic? Do you think it will be weird to hear the daughter of the original song master complaining about her parent's misunderstandings? Do you think Willow will do the song justice?

I personally think there's no one better to re-make this song than Willow. It will be funny to see the daughter of the original song master poke fun of her own parents. I hope that if she does re-make it she releases it as a single and includes her parents, or at least her father, Will Smith, in the video.

Engagement: The Latest Celebrity Trend.

It seems like every time you turn your computer or television on or flip threw a magazine you hear the news of another celebrity's engagement.

Celebrity weddings are out. Celebrity pregnancies were five minutes ago. Celebrity engagements are the hot thing now.

Some of the most recent celebrity engagements are:

Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo announced their engagement in early November. The couple has been together on and off for the past five years. Proposing seems to have been a smart move on Lachey's behalf, as their have been numerous rumors floating around that Minnillo was getting annoyed by Lachey's lack of commitment. It has been rumored that she wanted to leave him if he didn't propose to her soon.

Not to be outdone by her ex-husband, Jessica Simpson also reported her engagement just days after Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo's announcement. Simpson began dating her fiance, former NFL star, Eric Johnson, this past summer. The relationship was reminiscent of her former love affair with Dallas Cowboy's quarterback, Tony Romo, except things with Johnson seem to be moving at a much more rapid pace. I have a strong feeling that this relationship won't last...

Shania Twain and Frederic Thiebaud. The couple is said to have been engaged for quite some time, but have just recently made their engagement public.

Star of the latest "it" movie to reach Hollywood, Black Swan, Natalie Portman, recently announced that she is both engaged to and carrying Benjamin Millepied's child. The couple met on the set of Black Swan when Millepied worked as Portman's choreographer.

Leann Rimes got engaged to her fiance, Eddie Cibrian on Christmas Eve. The couple was rumored to be engaged several times over the past few months, but this is the first time they've come forward and confirmed the rumors. The couple has faced much scrutiny because both of them cheated on their spouses to be together. It leaves many wondering if they can last and remain faithful to each other now, or if karma will serve their new marriage misfortune.

Today it was announced that Lily Allen is engaged to her boyfriend of several years, Sam Cooper. This is the first happy news that Allen have had in awhile, since suffering from her second miscarriage and then falling ill to blood poisoning.

Lily Allen and Sam Cooper weren't the only ones with news of engagement today. Reese Witherspoon and boyfriend, Jim Toth, also announced their engagement today. Jim serves as Reese's CAA agent and the couple have been dating for slightly less than a year.

It is also rumored that Britney Spears may be engaged to her beau, Jason Trawick. It has yet to be confirmed, but Spears has been spotted out with what appears to be a diamond ring on her ring finger. The rumors have yet to be confirmed though.

Who's wedding are you most looking forward to? Who do you think will rush to the altar first? Or, more importantly, who do you think will be the next celebrity to take part in the new celebrity engagement trend?
