Willow Smith to Re-make "Parents Just Don't Understand"?

According to Willow, it's a "possibility".

The original version of the 1988 hit, "Parents Just Don't Understand" was recorded by her father, Will Smith, or as he was known back then, "The Fresh Prince" and DJ Jazzy Jeff. It was later re-made by by Nick Cannon, 3LW, and Lil' Romeo for the 2001 film, Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Willow described her father's original version of the song by stating, "It's a really great song".

What do you think of Willow Smith re-making her father's classic? Do you think it will be weird to hear the daughter of the original song master complaining about her parent's misunderstandings? Do you think Willow will do the song justice?

I personally think there's no one better to re-make this song than Willow. It will be funny to see the daughter of the original song master poke fun of her own parents. I hope that if she does re-make it she releases it as a single and includes her parents, or at least her father, Will Smith, in the video.

Mariah Carey Finally Confirms Pregnancy Rumors

People Magazine has just posted via Twitter that Mariah Carey and husband Nick Cannon have finally confirmed that they are expecting their first child.
Carey has been amidst pregnancy rumors for over a year, especially in recent months as she has gained a significant amount of weight and had been spotted wearing maternity clothes. However, her and her husband, Nick Cannon, have tried to fight off the rumors feverishly, claiming that Carey was superstitious of confirming the pregnancy early on.

The couple has still remained vague about their unborn child. News of the baby's sex, due date, or possible names have not yet been revealed.

Congratulations Mariah and Nick! Hopefully your spawn will be a mini-Mariah and much more successful than Nick. :-p

Mariah Carey to be Next American Idol Judge?

According to Perezhilton.com, Mariah Carey may be considering taking a new job as an American Idol judge, and her husband, Nick Cannon, is fully supporting the diva!

Nick Cannon has mentioned that Carey has been talking about how much she'd love to be a judge, but is questioning whether or not she has the time.

There's been no word yet on whether or not Carey has been offered the job. If she is offered the job it will be in replace of the now dropped J.Lo.

Would you like to see Mariah Carey as a judge on the next season of American Idol? Do you think she would do a good job? While Carey is undoubtedly musically talented, I don't think she would be a right fit for American Idol. She is a bit too stuck up and I think she would be annoying to watch week after week on TV, rather than entertaining.
