DJ AM Found Dead in NYC Apartment

Famed American DJ, DJ AM was found dead in his NYC apartment early this evening.

Cops broke into his apartment and found his body after family and friends of the late DJ filed a missing person report due to concern that grew out of not hearing from the DJ for several days.

It is still not clear what he died from, but there has been strong evidence that he died from a drug overdose.

The cops found DJ AM lying face-down on his bed, surrounded by drugs and drug paraphernalia such as a crack pipe and several pills.

DJ AM previously battled a serious drug addiction. However, the DJ has been sober for quite some time and even helped his former girlfriend, Nicole Richie, to beat her addiction to narcotics. However, a case of post traumatic stress caused by the DJ's near death incident after a serious plane crash last September toppled with a recent breakup from his girlfriend, Haley Wood may have played a role in the DJ'S drug relapse.

DJ AM was one of the greatest DJ's of my time. He will surely be missed. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

New Backstreet Boys Video Debuts, But is a Disappointment.

Everyone's favorite boy band from the 1990's, The Backstreet Boys, are back! There new single, "Straight to my Heart" began to hit radios a few weeks ago. It is OK, but not great, especially when compared to some of the Backstreet Boys older songs such as "Shape of my Heart" or "The One". The video however, is hideous. Apparently The Backstreet Boys didn't get the memo that the 1990's are over. The dance moves and the bubblegum pop music is from another time period that is now lost in the past. The only thing modern about this video is the new vampire trend, but even that doesn't make sense. Vampires are usually thought of being dark, depressing, and gothicy. It would make much more sense to see vampires in a Marilyn Manson music video than a Backstreet Boys video. It's just weird. I don't think the Backstreet Boys are headed towards the right path for a comeback at all. I think their new album will be a failure.

Here's the new video:

What do you think of the song/video? Will you buy their new album?
