UPDATE-Lindsay Lohan Admits to Failing Drug Tests, Substance Abuse Via Twitter

The Lindsay Lohan case just took an unexpected twist.

Instead of thinking up a ridiculous excuse about how her energy drink contains elements of cocaine or something, Lohan actually admitted that she did indeed use drugs.

Lohan took to her twitter to tweet the follow:

Regrettably, I did in fact fail my most recent drug test and if I am asked, I am prepared to appear before judge Fox next week as a result. Substance abuse is a disease, which unfortunately doesn't go away over night. I am working hard to overcome it and am taking positive steps forward every day. I am testing every single day and doing what I must do to prevent any mishaps in the future. This was certainly a setback for me but I am taking responsibility for my actions and I'm prepared to face the consequences I am so thankful for the support of my fans, loved ones and immediate family, who understand that i am trying hard, but also that I am a work in progress, just as anyone else. I am keeping my faith, and I am hopeful....Thank you all!!!

I am surprised by Lohan's words, but at the same time, skeptical. I think she may have only released this statement as a way to get on Judge Fox's good side and avoid further jail time. Also, Lohan may realize that this could put a set back on her whole "come back" thing, and she may be trying to salvage it by releasing this statement.

What do you think about Lohan's admittance to failing her drug test and substance abuse?

(200th Post!)Lindsay Lohan Fails Two Drug Tests, May Serve Up to 30 Days in Jail For Violating Probation

Multiple sources are confirming that Lindsay Lohan has failed at least two drug tests, one being issued as recently as last week. In one of the tests Lohan tested positive for Cocaine. It is not yet known what she tested postive for in the other drug test.

Lohan will face the court and her judge as soon as next week in regards to violating her probation. Her judge has warned her in the past not to violate her probation, and doing so could earn her up to 30 days back in jail. Now that she's violated her probation twice, she may be at risk for serving an even longer jail sentence.

Hopefully this time if she gets sentenced to prison she'll actually be there for at least half of her term! The first stint in jail/rehab obviously did nothing!

I wish I could say I'm suprised, but I'm really not. She barely served any time at all in jail or rehab, much less enough time to have "changed" or "transformed". Lohan was also seen partying it up at some clubs as recently as last week. She tried to remain unseen at the clubs, but I still highly doubt that no drugs or alcohol were consumed during these trips to the club.

What do you think about Lohan violating her probation again? Is anyone actually suprised? Do you think Lohan should go back to jail/rehab?

R.L. Stein's "Goosebumps" Series to be Made into Movie

According to Perezhilton.com, many adults who grew up in the 1990's are about to witness their seemingly abandoned childhood dream come true.

A movie based upon the once popular Goosebumps series is about to be made.

There has been no word released as to which book(s) will make the cut for the movie, but the movie will be produced by Columbia pictures.

My vote is for the dummy book, Night of the Living Dummy! That one was always my favorite of all of the books and I remember the tv show version of it was pretty creepy. There's just something about dummies that make them completely horrifying...

Are you excited about the upcoming Goosebumps movie? Which book(s) from the series would you like to see adapted to film?

2010 Video Music Awards Predictions/Who I voted for

It's hard to believe the 2010 Video Music Awards are already here! It feels like just yesterday I was posting about the 2009 VMA'S and everyone was in shock about the whole Kanye West/Taylor Swift incident!

This year the event is being hosted by Chelsea Handler, who has already said she would like to see Taylor Swift and Kanye West reunite. I'm still rooting for Taylor to interrupt Kanye West's performance. Regardless of what does or doesn't happen between Taylor and Kanye, this year's VMA's are guaranteed to be full of surprises and of course, controversy.

Here is the break down of my VMA predictions and who I voted for.

Best New Artist
Broken Bells, "The Ghost Inside
Jason Derulo, "In My Head"
Justin Bieber f/Ludacris "Baby"
Ke$ha, "Tik Tok"
Nicki Minaj f/Sean Garrett, "Massive Attack"
My Vote: Jason Derulo, "In My Head"
My PredictionThis is going to come down to Jason Derulo, Justin Bieber, or Ke$ha. Jason Derulo and Ke$ha's songs seem to have gotten the most air play, but Justin Bieber has slowly been taking over America. I'm going to have to say this one will go to Ke$ha based on airplay and how much she's been promoting the VMA's. Also, Ke$ha seems to be generally more popular than Jason Derulo.

Best Collaboration
3OH!3 F/Ke$ha "My First Kiss"
B.O.B. F/Hayley Williams, "Airplanes"
Beyonce f/Lady Gaga "Video Phone"
Jay-Z and Alicia Keys, "Empire State of Mind
Lady Gaga f/Beyonce, "Telephone"
My Vote: This is one of the only times I've liked every single video in a category. 30H!3 is one of my favoritest bands and I'm pretty confident they won't win, so I have to give them my vote.
My PredictionI think every video in this category except for "My First Kiss" has a strong chance of winning. "Airplanes" was definitely one of the songs of the summer, if not the year. I'm going to put my bets on them for winning this category.

Best Dance Music Video
Cascada, "Evacuate the Dance Floor"
David Guetta f/Akon, "Sexy Chick"
Enrique Iglesias f/Pitbull, "I Like it"
Lady Gaga, "Bad Romance"
Usher f/Will.I.Am, "OMG"
My Vote:Lady Gaga, "Bad Romance".
My Prediction:Hands down, Lady Gaga, "Bad Romance". The other songs are good, but when it comes to a dance video/song, they can't compare.

Best Art Direction
30 Seconds to Mars, "Kings and Queens"
Beyonce f/Lady Gaga, "Video Phone"
Eminem, "Not Afraid"
Florence + the Machine, "Dog Days are Over"
Lady Gaga, "Bad Romance"
My VoteLady Gaga, "Bad Romance"
My PredictionLady Gaga, "Video Phone". I think this category is pre-destined for a Lady Gaga victory. Whenever I heard the word 'Art" in terms of music, I think of Lady Gaga. I like "Bad Romance" better, but I think "Video Phone" was more crafty and will therefore beat out "Bad Romance".

Best Choreography
Beyonce f/Lady Gaga, "Video Phone"
Janelle Monae f/Big Boi, "Tight Rope"
Lady Gaga, "Bad Romance"
Lady Gaga f/Beyonce, "Telephone"
Usher, "Omg"
My VoteLady Gaga, "Bad Romance"
My PredictionLady Gaga, "Bad romance", I think the choreography in this video is the most rememberable. It will definitely be a Gaga victory, the question is which video? I predict it will be "Bad Romance". I remember that choreography far better than I remember the choreography for "Video Phone" or "Telephone".

Best Cinematography
Eminem, "Not Afraid"
Florence + The Machine, "Dog Days are Over"
Jay-Z and Alicia Keys, "Empire State of Mind
Lady Gaga, "Bad Romance"
Mumford and Sons, "Little Lion Men".
My VoteLady Gaga, "Bad Romance"
My PredictionNever heard of Florence + the Machine or Mumford and Sons. Two unheard of bands in one category? Almost sounds like a set up. Florence + The Machine are nominated for some other categories, so I'll give them this one. Plus, Lady Gaga can't win them all...

Best Direction
30 Seconds to Mars, "Kings and Queens"
Eminem, "Not Afraid"
Jay-Z and Alicia Keys, "Empire State of Mind"
Lady Gaga, "Bad Romance"
Pink, "Funhouse"
My Vote: Lady Gaga, "Bad Romance"
My Prediction: Jay-Z and Alicia Keys, "Empire State of Mind". Lady Gaga can't win everything. This song and video has been one of the year's best and deserves to win in at least one category.

Best Editing
Eminem, "Not Afraid"
Lady Gaga, "Bad Romance"
Mike Snow, "Animal"
Pink, "Funhouse"
Rihanna, "Rude Boy"
My VoteLady Gaga, "Bad Romance"
My PredictionLady Gaga, "Bad Romance". She deserves it the most. I mean, look at all of the crazy things going on in her video. There had to have been a lot of editing that went into that. Even her eyes are edited. The other videos just can't compare.

Best Special Effects
Dan Black, "Symphonies"
Eminem, "Not Afraid"
Green Day, "21st Century Breakdown"
Lady Gaga, "Bad Romance"
Muse, "Uprising'.
My Vote:Lady Gaga, "Bad Romance"
My Prediction:Eminem, "Not Afraid", but only because Lady Gaga can't win everything (even though her video's are in a category of their own and can't compare to the others) and Eminem is nominated a lot and almost guaranteed to win at least once.

Breakthrough Video
The Black Keys, "Tighten Up"
Coldplay, "Strawberry Swing"
Dan Black, "Symphonies"
Gorillaz f/Bobby Womack and Mos Def, "Stylo"
My Vote:Coldplay, "Strawberry Swing", because it's Coldplay.
My Prediction:Dan Black, "Symphonies".

Be sure to check out the Video Music Awards tonight at 9pm on MTV to see how my votes/predictions matched up and check on your own predictions, too!
