UPDATE-Lindsay Lohan Admits to Failing Drug Tests, Substance Abuse Via Twitter

The Lindsay Lohan case just took an unexpected twist.

Instead of thinking up a ridiculous excuse about how her energy drink contains elements of cocaine or something, Lohan actually admitted that she did indeed use drugs.

Lohan took to her twitter to tweet the follow:

Regrettably, I did in fact fail my most recent drug test and if I am asked, I am prepared to appear before judge Fox next week as a result. Substance abuse is a disease, which unfortunately doesn't go away over night. I am working hard to overcome it and am taking positive steps forward every day. I am testing every single day and doing what I must do to prevent any mishaps in the future.This was certainly a setback for me but I am taking responsibility for my actions and I'm prepared to face the consequences I am so thankful for the support of my fans, loved ones and immediate family, who understand that i am trying hard, but also that I am a work in progress, just as anyone else. I am keeping my faith, and I am hopeful....Thank you all!!!

I am surprised by Lohan's words, but at the same time, skeptical. I think she may have only released this statement as a way to get on Judge Fox's good side and avoid further jail time. Also, Lohan may realize that this could put a set back on her whole "come back" thing, and she may be trying to salvage it by releasing this statement.

(200th Post!)Lindsay Lohan Fails Two Drug Tests, May Serve Up to 30 Days in Jail For Violating Probation

Multiple sources are confirming that Lindsay Lohan has failed at least two drug tests, one being issued as recently as last week. In one of the tests Lohan tested positive for Cocaine. It is not yet known what she tested postive for in the other drug test.

Lohan will face the court and her judge as soon as next week in regards to violating her probation. Her judge has warned her in the past not to violate her probation, and doing so could earn her up to 30 days back in jail. Now that she's violated her probation twice, she may be at risk for serving an even longer jail sentence.

Hopefully this time if she gets sentenced to prison she'll actually be there for at least half of her term! The first stint in jail/rehab obviously did nothing!

I wish I could say I'm suprised, but I'm really not. She barely served any time at all in jail or rehab, much less enough time to have "changed" or "transformed". Lohan was also seen partying it up at some clubs as recently as last week. She tried to remain unseen at the clubs, but I still highly doubt that no drugs or alcohol were consumed during these trips to the club.

Lindsay Lohan's father, Michael Lohan, To Appear on Maury?

It could happen.

Lindsay Lohan's fame-addicted father, Michael Lohan, recently announced his desire to appear on Maury for a paternity test!

Lohan is being accused of fathering a 15 year old girl with alleged mistress, Kristi Kauffman. Lohan has continuously insisted that he is not the father, and wants the results to be confirmed via television.

Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson to Wed?

According to perezhilton.com, Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson are not only back to being the super annoying couple, but they are also engaged to be married. Lohan has recently been spotted wearing a diamond ring on her ring finger that is assumed to be an engagement ring and she has also taken to her twitter to write about how she has great news to tell...though she never mentioned what the "news" is. A Lohan and Ronson wedding? What part of that is supposed to be good?

Lindsay Lohan is even crazier than we all thought..

Many of you have probably heard by now that Lindsay Lohan has gained a role in a forth-coming independent movie called The Other Side. Lohan has been telling anyone that will listen how she is determined to get her career back on track by staying focused, working hard, and giving up on the partying as she films this movie. However, I'm not buying it.

Lohan has also stated that she has given up many other roles in order to appear in this movie. Seriously? Is she insane? Obviously. This is an INDEPENDENT movie. Who can even remember seeing an independent movie that was good? Or any independent movie for that matter?

Maybe indies are all that Lohan can recieve offers for now, but if I was her I'd be snatching up any offer I could. I mean, this is Lindsay Lohan, everyone knows her, and hardly anyone ever wants to work with her anymore.
