Perez Hilton: Proud New Owner of Record Label

Yes, the rumors are true. Perez Hilton is now the proud new owner of his own record label. Hilton plans to release the name of his first signed artist soon, along with tour plans for said artist. Hilton has always displayed a strong taste for finding new musical talent in the past. Hilton was one of the first to find out about Lady Gaga and support her. In addition, he frequently posts videos in his blog about up and coming acts. I think the future of Hilton's record label is looking pretty good.

Swine Flu Vaccinate to be Available in October

Perezhilton.com is reporting that America's Secretary of Health and Human Services stated that a vaccination against the swine flu will be available for release around October. Testing of the vaccination will go into effect as early as August. Wow! That was fast! If we can make a vaccination against a flu that hasn't killed all that many people, how come we still don't have a vaccine against cancer or aids that kills millions of people each year?

A Movie Based on View-Master?

When most people think of their childhoods they reflect back on some of the toys that they used to play with. Among these toys many people will remember owning or at least playing with a view-master; but did anyone ever think that a movie would be made based on the popular children's toy? Probably not! However, Perezhilton.com is reporting that the nightmare of an idea is about to become a reality! The making of the movie is already in the works and it looks like the team who produced the Transformers and the script writers for Fringe are about to go hand-in-hand to make this horrific movie. Such great talent is being wasted on a film about a view finder? Why? As you can probably tell, I have no faith in this movie at all, because seriously, what's there to say about a view finder?

The Coolest Way to Die

A while back I posted an entry titled "The Stupidest Way to Die" about a teen that died while checking her twitter account as she took a bath. This entry is about someone who died in a rather cool way. A 29 year old man died in Camden, NJ after falling into chocolate! Yes, you read that right. The man was working at Lyon and Sons. His job was to throw chunks of chocolate over a vat of chocolate that is approximately 120 degrees to melt. The chocolate is melted to be sent to other companies to use to make candy. While the man was throwing in the chunks of chocolate he fell into the vat. The vat was immediately thrown into an emergency halt while EMTs, police, fireman, and other emergency services were called in, but it was too late. The man was dead before help arrived.

It's really sad to see the guy dead at such a young age, but when I die, I hope it's in a cool way like this is. Dying in a pool of hot chocolate doesn't sound half bad.

R.I.P. Oscar Mayer

"Oh, I wish I were an Oscar Mayer wiener
That is what I'd truly like to be
'Cuz if I were an Oscar Mayer wiener
Everyone would be in love with me!
"

Chances are you've heard this song at least once during the duration of your life. If you haven't, then chances are you have at least eaten an Oscar Mayer product or have at least heard of them.

Unfortunately, the man responsible for bringing such joy and hearty products into our homes, Oscar Mayer, has passed away. Mayer died on Monday at the age of 95. America has truly lost a legend.

In honor of Mayer, I leave you with a video containing the Oscar Mayer Wiener Song:

Teacher Reprimanded for Playing "Wedding" with Student

Paul Rosenblum, a fourth grade teacher from Falmouth, Maine, has recently played the role of the groom during a play wedding with one of his fourth grade students. While the incident sounds cute and innocent to some, such as myself, others, particularly parents and school administrators, do not find it to be so cute. The principal at the Plummer-Motz school where the incident occur ed has forced the teacher to write a letter of apology to the parents at the school. The teacher has also stated that he has become "sick with regret". All that for a little imaginary game of wedding? Come on now. It's not like the student took it seriously...she wore a sheet over her clothes as a wedding dress...lol. This is one strange world, eh?

Are Panic at the Disco Headed for a Break Up?

According to Perezhilton.com, the band responsible for bringing you hits such as I Write Sins, Not Tragedies, Lying is the Most Fun a Girl Can Have Without Taking Off Her Clothes, and Time to Dance, Panic at the Disco, is on the verge of a break up. Although the band has not officially announced a break up, two of the four band members, Ryan Ross and Jon Walker, have decided to leave the band to pursue other musical interests. Drummer, Spencer Smith, and lead singer, Brandon Urie, will however remain in the band. Panic at the Disco doesn't seem like much of a band with only these two singers, though. I wonder if they will change their name to form a whole new band or look for replacement members? I'm interested in seeing what comes out of this situation!
