Full House Proves that we Laugh Because Others Do, Not Because Something is Funny.

After watching this snippet of Full House, one thing is obvious. Full House wasn't really that funny. It was awkward and weird. With this being said, why is it that we laughed hysterically throughout most epidsodes of the beloved sitcom?

Because Full House told us to.

The original epidsodes all contained "laugh tracks", or recorded sound of audience members laughing which would be played throughout different scenes in each epidsode. Without the laugh tracks, situations are not funny, they are just awkward.

Do you think that this laugh track free clip of Full House proves that the show wasn't really funny, but that individuals simply laugh at incidents because everyone else does? Were the situations ever funny, or was it funny because someone else thought it was? If Full House refrained from airing epidsodes that used laugh tracks, would you have still watched?
